How to make an oil bath

Oil bath ingredients:

  1. Olive oil, sweet almond oil, or coconut oil (you can choose the oil you prefer).
  2. Warm bath.

Steps to make an oil bath

  1. Heat the oil: Before you begin, choose the type of oil you want to use. You can heat the oil over low heat to make it easier to distribute on the hair and skin. A reminder that oils do not need to be heated to a high temperature, just until they are slightly warm.
  2. Bathroom preparation: Before entering the bathroom, make sure you have enough time to relax. Fill the tub with warm water so that it completely covers the surface of the body when you sit in it.
  3. Apply the oil: Sit in the tub and quickly wipe your body to get rid of any dirt on the skin. Next, start gently applying the oil to the skin and hair. You can use your hands or a soft brush to help distribute the oil evenly.
  4. Relaxation: Once the oil is applied, stay in the bath for 15-30 minutes to allow the oil to absorb into the skin and hair. You can enjoy relaxing, watching TV, reading a book, or listening to soothing music.
  5. Rinse: After the appropriate time has passed, use warm water to wash the oil from the body and hair. Use a mild soap if you need to remove any remaining oil.
  6. Drying: Rise from the sink and use a clean towel to gently dry. Do not rub the skin too hard, but press gently to preserve the natural oils.
  7. Combing hair: After drying, gently comb your hair using a wide-tooth comb to avoid hair damage.
